Ebay is a riddle trapped in an enigma. It is the promised land and a wasteland. It can be your best friend or your worst enemy. In shopping, it is the final frontier. For the urban hunter it is a gold mine that promises to yield a bounty of cool, but only if you’ve got a few hours a day to sift through all the junk. And as we all know, there is a lot of junk on Ebay. Maybe that explains why people take such pride in the slogan: “I got it on Ebay!”
Let’s be honest for a second here: It’s really f*^$%$ing hard to find cool sh#$t on there. But it is possible; that much we know. And now, for those in the know, there is a service that takes all of the hassle (but keeps all of the cool) out of shopping on Ebay.
Founded by Michael Phillips Moskowitz, Bureau of Trade, is a new service that scours the internet landscape (Ebay, Etsy, Craigslist) to curate under one roof the kinds of good’s that today’s man is constantly in on the look out for; whether that be a bottle of Aqua di Parma cologne for a night on the town or a Mercedez Benz stretch limo for that photoshoot you’ve been planning.
The variety of goods on the site makes it a must-browse in your daily procrastination routine. The tongue-in-cheek product reviews and easy-on-the-eyes layout don’t hurt either. Sorry ladies, this might be a great place to find something for that special man in your life, but don’t count of dress shopping at this online market. Bureau of Trade is a guy thing. And if you are looking for something specific, you can e-mail the staff and they’ll do their best to find it for you. How much better can this get?!?! Happy hunting gentlemen!
